De <span class=SpellE>Begeleidings</span> Commissie Keuringen is haar
werkzaamheden gestart in februari 2003, naar aanleiding van een bijeenkomst
voor veredelaars en belangstellenden, georganiseerd door de Uitgebreide
Technische Commissie (UTC) van de Nederlandse Kring van Fuchsiavrienden (NKvF).
Tijdens de bijeenkomst zijn de leden van deze groep door de aanwezigen benoemd.
De destijds benoemde groep noemde zich daarna: Werkgroep Keuringen.<br>
In 2004 is de groep onderdeel geworden van de UTC van de NKvF en werd de naam
veranderd in <span class=SpellE>Begeleidings</span> Commissie Keuringen.<br>
De BCK behartigt de belangen aangaande fuchsiakeuringen voor veredelaars van
fuchsianieuwigheden, zowel georganiseerd door de NKvF als daarbuiten, maar
behartigt in deze ook de belangen van fuchsialiefhebbers. De BCK is
samengesteld uit leden van de NKvF en functioneert onder auspiciën van de NKvF.
Om haar neutraliteit en onafhankelijkheid te waarborgen is de BCK zelf en niet
de NKvF verantwoordelijk voor haar functioneren. De BCK houdt jaarlijks
een evaluatievergadering en maak daar een verslag van. Voor deze
vergadering worden het bestuur van de UTC, de leden van de BCK alsmede de
keurmeesters uitgenodigd. Deze evaluatievergadering zal plaats vinden op de
eerste zaterdag van de maand oktober.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

onafhankelijke en transparante wijze fuchsia’s gekeurd worden op noviteit met

Na afloop van de keuringen zal zo spoedig mogelijk een foto met de daarbij
behorende gegevens van de genomineerde plant aangeboden worden aan de redacties
van Fuchsiana en de website van de NKvF met het verzoek deze te
publiceren op de website en in Fuchsiana. Eveneens worden de genomineerde planten
door de BCK ter inschrijving aangeboden in het register van de American Fuchsia
Society (AFS). De kosten hiervan bedragen 2 euro per inschrijving en dienen
direct na afloop van de keuring te worden voldaan. Bij het in gebreke blijven
hiervan zal er geen Getuigschrift van Verdienste worden verstrekt. Van alle
genomineerde planten wordt een digitaal plantdossier bijgehouden door de Beschrijvingsgroep
van de NKvF door middel van opname in de Cultivar Inventaris Lijst op de
website van de NKvF.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

keuringen gehouden te weten de eerste in de maand juli, de tweede in

geen doorgang vinden. Indien dit het geval is word dit aan de aanmelders
doorgegeven en op de website van de NKvF gemeld.<o:p></o:p></span></li>

1 ongetopte plant die in het seizoen van aanbieding is gestekt;<br>
1 getopte plant die in het seizoen van aanbieding is gestekt; het seizoen begint
na de laatste keuring van het voorbije seizoen en 1 plant van tenminste 1
jaar oud. Tevens mag er een zogenaamde showplant worden meegenomen,
naar eigen inzicht opgekweekt. Dit mag ook een pot zijn met meerdere
planten in een pot.<o:p></o:p></span></li>

Keurmeesters die informatie ontvangen over nog te keuren planten dienen

wordt.<br>
Het aantal punten dat men geeft doet men individueel.<o:p></o:p></span></li>

geadviseerd om deze bij de AFS aan te melden. De NKvF wil dit tegen een
vergoeding van € 2,00 per inschrijving uitvoeren.<br>
Wil men gebruik maken van deze faciliteit dan dient men op de keuring de
vastgestelde vergoeding te voldoen. Tevens dient men een plant die men in
omloop wil brengen in te leveren voor beschrijving door de
Beschrijvingsgroep. <o:p></o:p></span></li>

Eén plant is voor distributie en gaat naar een door de BCK aangewezen
kweker. Dit hoeft geen plant te zijn die ter keuring is aangeboden.<br>
De getopte plant gaat naar de Beschrijvingsgroep van NKvF.<o:p></o:p></span></li>

BCK verzoeken om vrijstelling van art. 43.<br>
Dat kan alleen door de BCK worden toegestaan als de
inzender aannemelijk kan maken waarom vrijstelling zou moeten
worden verleend. Als het verzoek door de BCK is afgewezen en de inzender
wil art. 43. niet onderschrijven, dan zal de toegekende nominatie van de
desbetreffende plant worden ingetrokken.<o:p></o:p></span></li>
