The guest-author is one of the co-operators out of the former Dutch UTC-studygroup 'Trial fuchsias to hardiness'. There was allready to see that Hans likes to keep busy in his fuchsia hobby with experiments. He is a specialist in breeding plants for competitions. Many of his specific treatments to breed nice competition plants are based on the experimental way of 'trying out'.
